Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies are small values that a browser may send with web requests. localStorage stores values for a website in the browser and does not automatically attach them to requests. Both are forms of device storage, but they behave differently.
What this site stores
When you select a preference, the site writes jungleclevercomet-cookie-preference to localStorage with the value accepted or essential. Its purpose is to remember the choice you requested. It contains no name, email address or unique visitor identifier.
The preference has no automatic expiry in this implementation. It remains in that browser profile until you replace it or clear the site’s data. A different browser or device will not share it. If storage is blocked, the site remains readable and no optional tracking is activated.
What is not stored
The site’s own code does not set advertising or analytics cookies, load third-party tracking scripts or persist contact drafts. Tab selection and navigation state are held only during the current page session. Clipboard contents and downloaded text files are controlled by you and your device, not by a site cookie.
Change or remove a choice
Use the buttons above to replace the saved preference. To remove it entirely, clear website data for jungleclevercomet.site in your browser’s privacy or storage settings. Clearing all cookies alone may not remove localStorage in every browser; choose the option that also clears site data.
External links and future changes
Following an external source link opens an independently operated site that may use its own cookies and storage. Its policies apply there. If optional technologies are introduced here later, this information and the relevant controls must be updated before those technologies are used where consent is required.
